Idaho Acupuncture Physicians

Acu Corrine Carpenter Lac Llc
I am a National Board Certified, licensed acupuncture therapist. I graduated in 1992 from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture (TSCA) and went on to earn a Master's degree at the same school. One of the oldest schools of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the United States. TCSA is recognized as one of the best acupuncture training institutes in the country. I have studied homeopathy for over25 years, beginning as a young mother seeking help for my family and myself. I earned my Certification in Homeopathy from the Hahnemann Academy of North America. I built a flourishing acupuncture and homeopathic practice in the New York area during the 1990's. I believe that, in many cases, I can help my patients achieve deeper, longer-lasting healing with homeopathy and acupuncture than with acupuncture alone.I was invited to move to Bloomington, Indiana to practice at the Center for Wholism. I sold my practice in New York and moved to Bloomington in 2000. I offer acupuncture treatments and homeopathic consultations at The Center for Wholism. Homeopathic consultations can also be done by phone.I also offer occasional classes to teach individuals the essentials of homeopathy so they may take care of themselves and their families for simple acute illnesses and mishaps using a kit of emergency remedies.

All Care Health and Rehabilitation Center
First, enjoy our state of the art facility. Once all paper work is filled in(see Patient Forms) the doctor will begin with a thorough examination and will assess your areas of concern, as well as carefully considering your health history. Dr. Spruch is trained in x-ray techniques and in order to make an accurate diagnosis may ask x-rays of your back and neck. Only after this initial examination will they offer a recommended course of treatment. Based on the analysis of your initial examination, your treatment could consist of chiropractic adjustments, therapies, and rehabilitation. If Dr. Spruch feels that you would benefit from acupuncture he will perform an Electro-Meridian Imaging evaluation to assess your body's energy dynamics. This test helps determine the ideal acupuncture points to select for your acupuncture treatments.

Evansville Integrative Medicine
Acupuncture involves using very fine needles to stimulate specific points on the body, each of which has its own effect on the body's energy balance. Most people find acupuncture treatments profoundly relaxing once they experience a treatment or two. The needles used are solid, finer than a human hair, sterile, single use, and disposable. Acupuncture is safe and effective for children and adults, though different techniques are used.

Jade Creek Acupuncture
Originating in ancient China, Classical Acupuncture is one of the oldest continuously practiced medical systems in the world. This medical model is based on natural laws that describe the flow of life energy in nature and in the person. This life energy, called Qi, flows through the person in channels similar to rivers that flow throughout the earth. When the Qi in the person is full and flowing, health is promoted. When the Qi is not full and flowing, illness can begin. Every symptom is a distress signal indicating the Qi is out of balance. Classical acupuncture serves to assist nature in restoring the balance.
Symptoms are the body’s distress signals, warning that there is a problem. If the real problem is not addressed, sooner or later something more serious is likely to occur. Classical acupuncture addresses the cause of the symptom or disease. While it can remedy ailments, more importantly Chinese medicine corrects the physical, emotional, mental and spirit imbalances that cause symptoms to arise.Over time, even chronic and complex problems can be unraveled as the flow of Qi energy is restored. Acupuncture can also help with emotional problems, stress, and issues of the spirit such as depression and anxiety.

Minser Rebecca MD
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical system that accesses and balances the body's energy via acupuncture points, which are located along the meridians (energy channels) of the body. The acupuncture points can be used with either pressure (acupressure) or very fine needles (acupuncture). Acupuncture can be effective for pain management as well as numerous other problems, including asthma, allergies, smoking cessation, menstrual problems, menopause, diarrhea and constipation, bladder problems, including interstitial cystitis (IC) and bladder urgency, migraines, and fibromyalgia. This is just a small list of conditions that can be treated with acupuncture. Acupuncture is usually painless, with minimal risks. At times there can be bruising at a point, or a drop of blood. Needles are single use sterile needles, so risk of infection is miniscule. The first session is an hour and a half long, and involves in-depth discussion of your concerns for about 45 minutes followed by your first treatment.
